Families wanting more information about My Future My Choice, the human sexuality curriculum used at Fern Ridge Middle School, are invited to attend a Family Information Night on Tuesday, March 17th at 6:30 in Room 16 at Fern Ridge Middle School. Daniel Gallo from Lane ESD will be here to answer any questions and talk about the curriculum with families.

In case you missed the post on March 2nd, My Future My Choice will be the curriculum used by FRMS Science teachers when they teach Human Sexuality in late March/April. It uses a comprehrensive, accurate, inclusive, and trauma-informed approach. It focuses on teaching young people how to build healthy relationships and helps them to better relate with themselves, peers, and others in their community.

Families can also preview the curriculum on line using the link below.  We encourage families to review the curriculum or attend the Family Information Night if they have any concerns or questions.

As always, FRMS families have the option for their student to not participate in this important curriculum. Information on how to opt out will be sent through Parent Square to families by Mr.James, Ms. Fuentez, and Mr. Piccolo a few weeks before they start instruction at their grade level.
