Congratulations 8th Grade Class of 2026

   Tonight we celebrated the promotion of our 8th grade class of 2026 to high school, where they will go on to be the high school graduating class of 2030. Over the last three years, we have watched them grow from sometimes shy, sometimes timid, sometimes bold, sometimes curious, and always awesome 6th graders to the young adults they are today. It has been our pleasure to be a small part of their journey to adulthood. On behalf of the students and staff of Fern Ridge Middle School, we want to thank you for sharing your students with us for the last three years and for entrusting us with the responsibility of teaching and helping them grow. We can only imagine what they will accomplish in high school and what it will be like when they walk across another stage to receive another piece of paper. 
    And a special thank you to all of the 8th grade parents who donated their time to help plan the 8th Grade Promotion Celebration and decorate the stage and the gym for the promotion ceremony. The kids had fun today and the gym looked beautiful. Thank you for all of your hard work and to Mr. Carman for organizing a great event. Thank you as well to all of the FRMS staff who volunteered their time tonight to help  our 8th graders have a beautiful promotion ceremony.
